Do I need to buy an advance ticket to enter Kinecroft on foot to admire the parked formation of classic vehicles arriving after the parade ? Absolutely not, just turn up on the day and make a donation at the entry points when you walk in. In doing so all proceeds from the event support local charities.

Will there be parking if I just want watch the parade and admire the cars? Yes, however please arrive early (9-10am) to ensure you park sensibly in the various car parks in Wallingford or the Hithercroft Industrial Estate area, PLEASE avoid parking in the residential roads.

Where can I purchase the Golden Tickets? – (SOLD OUT)

Can I get a refund for my ticket I purchased in February? Yes, make sure you email before the 25th April 2025 to get a refund.

Can I take my partner or children in the parade? Yes, the ticket is valid for one vehicle to attend, however many people can legally fit in the vehicle.

Can the ticket be transferred to another vehicle without notification? Yes, technically your ticket is valid for 1 x vehicle, when you arrive for the parade you ticket is scanned regardless of the registration or vehicle you are in.

I have purchased a ticket, where and when do I park for the parade? The post code for the HITHERCROFT SPORTS PARK is OX10 9RB and entry is from 8am to 9.45am.

Do you have a waiting list of people who cancel? Not really, we generally do not get many people cancel, feel free to email and ask.

I haven’t received my sticker or wristband in the post? We will not be sending anything in the post, please present your ticket to receive your sticker and goodies.

How will I know where to go? Please follow the articulated hand gestures by our friendly volunteer marshals.

Can I just turn up in my classic car on the day? All the vehicles in the parade have purchased a ticket to enter the event, but there is nothing stopping you coming to see these cars parked up on the Kinecroft or watch the parade.

Why do I need to pay to enter my car? This is a fundraising event and you are helping us raise over £25k for charity.

General Event FAQ’s

What time is the parade of cars around Wallingford? It leaves the Hithercroft Sports Park at 10am.

I don’t have a classic car, I just want to come along to look at the cars, do I need to pay to enter? The event is free, you are welcome to come along and make a donation in the buckets.

Where can I park in Wallingford to watch the parade or walk onto the Kinecroft? Please arrive early to ensure you can find somewhere, (Click Here for SODC Local Car Parks) we would recommend parking at the Hithercroft Industrial Estate and LIDL car park and take a 4 to 5 minute walk.

Will there be traffic wardens in Wallingford? Traffic wardens will be very active. There are several pay and display car parks but it’ll be extremely busy and there’s very little on street parking. If you’re not displaying please use public transport if possible.

I have a disabled badge and would like to park near the event if possible? We have parking on the Kinecroft but it is very limited and works on first come first serve basis, please use the disabled parking in the town car parks.

Why should I donate in the buckets? This event is a fundraising event to donate monies to local cause’s that help put the event on, including the Fire Fighters Charity, See Saw, Scouts, Oxfordshire Prostate Cancer Support and many more.

Can I go out for a ride in a car? Yes, this is organised by The Sporting Bears, they have exotic, classics, muscle, replica, sports and vintage cars, pop down and take your pick. These dream rides are organised and run by the club members with help from fiends, all unpaid volunteers.
